Fees

Fees are charged on a sessional rate (50 minute session – $140.00) and payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. A sliding scale is available by special arrangement.

Payment Options: cash, cheque or e-transfer. There will be a handling charge of $20 for cheques returned due to insufficient funds.

Cancellation and Missed Appointments: Many people wait for counselling appointments and appreciate openings which become available due to cancellations, therefore a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancelled appointments or the session fee will be charged. WCB, ICBC, extended medical services, etc. do not provide payment for missed appointments. Cancellations may be left on voicemail or through email outside of office hours.
Insurance Companies and Extended Health Benefits: Unless other arrangements are made, payment for counselling service will be made directly and the client is then responsible for claiming repayment from a third party provider. The necessary receipt will be provided for filing insurance claims.
